The ReFlex project - Replicability Concept for Flexible Smart Grids - within ERA-Net Smart Grids Plus, funded from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program aims at
- the development of a replicability concept and guidelines for the deployment of technologically feasible, market based and user-friendly solutions for smart grids with a high level of flexibility
- the establishment of a ReFlex Community of Practice (COP) for knowledge exchange between regional Smart Grid demo regions across the participating countries by providing workshops and demo site visits to practitioners, stakeholders and researchers.
We would like to invite you to the second COP Workshop taking place from the 18th to 20th October 2017 in Malmö (Sweden)
2nd Communities of Practice (COP) Workshop

Day 2 (19/10) - morning: poster gallery focusing on external projects and ReFlex demo sites,
Day 2 (19/10) - afternoon: parallel group sessions to discuss replicability and scalability issues identified as of importance by the projects partners, presentation of and discussion about the structure and target groups of the ReFlex guidebook,
Day 3 (20/10) - morning: presentation of and discussion about first results from the WPs (replicability concept, simulation studies), agenda setting for last COP and planning of upcoming events.
Short presentation of the demo site MalmöThe City of Malmö has ambitious environmental goals: by 2020, the city’s organization is to be climate neutral, and by 2030, all of Malmö will be 100-percent sustained by renewable energy. Hyllie – Malmö’s largest development area – will lead the way toward the most sustainable city. The Smart grids for a sustainable energy system in Hyllie has the support of the Swedish Energy Agency and is being implemented by the City of Malmö and E.ON in cooperation with building developers and other players. Four focus areas and targets for sustainable city development have been identified:
• Energy supply: 100% renewable or recovered energy supply by 2020, sufficient portion of energy requirements is supplied through local renewable energy,
• Transport: Sustainable public transport (gas, electric),
• Infrastructure: Integrated system of electricity, gas, heating and cooling,
• Consumption: Energy efficient buildings connected to a smart grid, a climate-smart life style should be facilitated.
